Campus Master Plan

The purpose of the Oakland University Campus Master Plan (Master Plan) is to shape a physical framework to achieve the University’s Strategic Vision and objectives. Through focused discovery and collaboration with the campus community, the Master Plan will help differentiate the University and recognize it as a distinctive institution and destination - with outstanding academic programs, a vibrant campus life, and unique sense of place.

The Master Plan will be developed in the context of Oakland University as a 21st century university including stewardship for sustainability and carbon reduction on campus. Moreover, the Master Plan will provide a basis for coordinating physical and programmatic development decisions, providing a framework for long and short-term planning that is clear and flexible – responding to changing needs and conditions.

Please join us at one of our many campus open houses to help shape the future of Oakland University. Open houses will be offered on Wednesday, April 10 and Thursday, April 11. The locations are throughout the campus for everyone's convenience. Please visit the event page for more information.
